What makes Caraway unique?

We’re on a mission to craft well-designed, safe-to-use ceramic coated kitchenware that thoughtfully raises the standards of what you cook with. Simply put, our products are designed to make your life easier and healthier, no matter your level of expertise.

Where does the Caraway name come from?

Caraway is a type of biennial flower that sprouts flavorful seeds commonly used in rye bread recipes. The oblong shape of the seed inspired our ergonomic pots and pans handle design.

What is the meaning of the tea towel patterns used throughout your branding?

They are a nod to the vintage flour sack dishcloths and towels made popular in the 1940s. During that era, it was commonplace to reuse bespoke materials and packaging that subtly displayed one's aesthetic sensibility.

Where are Caraway products made?

Our founder designed Caraway in New York and vetted vendors worldwide when deciding where to produce. As a result, our products are all made in world-class factories based in China, all of which adhere to our strict ethical manufacturing practices and maintain the required standards for BSCI or SMETA.

Our partners have the same thoughtful work environments we provide for our own employees as part of the Caraway family. Responsibility and ethical manufacturing are core Caraway values; we feel strongly about building personal, long-lasting relationships with our suppliers and offering a transparent look into the process.

How do I register for Caraway products for my wedding?

You deserve top-of-the-line kitchenware heading into this exciting next chapter of your life! We’ve partnered with Zola to make it incredibly easy for you to register your dream Caraway set. Once you’ve installed the “Add to Zola” button to your browser, find your desired Caraway set and click the button to add it to your registry. Your wedding guests will then be directed to our site, and upon checkout, your registry will automatically update to reflect your item has been purchased.


What payment methods do you accept?

We accept most major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) as well as PayPal, Amazon Pay, and Afterpay.

Can I pay with installments using Afterpay?

Yes, we offer Afterpay to all customers at no additional cost. Afterpay allows you to purchase Caraway products via 4 interest-free installments paid out bi-weekly. To utilize this, select Afterpay as your payment type in the last step of checkout. Afterpay T&Cs apply.

Can I cancel an order after it’s been placed?

You can cancel an order for up to an hour from when it has been placed. If your order has already been processed, reach out to us at [email protected] to set up a return.

What days do you deliver on?

Our shipping partners deliver Monday to Saturday. Packages shipped with USPS may deliver Sunday depending on your area.

My order has shipped, where can I track it?

You can view all recent and shipped orders by opening the main chat menu and entering your order details in the "order status" section. Simply select the order you would like to view from the order list once your details have been entered.

How come I don’t see any updates on my tracking information?

Don’t stress! If your tracking information says “Label Processed,” that means we’re busy getting your order prepared to ship. Orders are usually processed and shipped within two business days.

I placed my order but haven't received my confirmation email. What next?

If you haven't received a confirmation within a few hours of placing your order, check your Spam or Junk folders, or reach out to us at [email protected] or through chat!

The product I want is out of stock. Now what?

While we can’t promise a color will come back in stock, we do restock many of our core colors. Our product pages will give you an estimation of when orders will ship next.

What types of Gift Cards do you offer?

We offer Digital Gift Cards here that are delivered to your email immediately after purchase with instructions on how to redeem the gift amount at checkout. Please note that purchases made with Gift Cards are non-refundable. You can check the balance of your gift card by reaching out to our team.

Do I need to pay tax on my order?

State laws require us to charge sales tax to addresses in most states. If your state requires it, you’ll see sales tax added at checkout.

When am I charged for my order?

Payment is collected as soon as you press the "Pay Now" button in checkout to confirm your order. In the case of Afterpay, just the first installment of the four will be taken immediately, with the remaining installments due every 2 weeks.

Should I hand wash my Caraway products or can I use the dishwasher?

Dishwashers are notorious for their harsh detergents and abrasive way of cleaning. Because of this, we suggest that all Caraway products never be put in your dishwasher since it drastically reduces the life of your non-stick properties and can potentially cause cosmetic damage. Instead, a gentle hand wash is all you need to keep your Caraway looking fresh!

How do I clean my pans?

Clean with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge or dishcloth to keep your pans looking fresh! Avoid the dishwasher as the detergent can damage the non-stick coating.

What type of tools should I use with the cookware & bakeware?

Wooden, silicone, plastic, or nylon utensils are all great to use with your Caraway products! Rough, sharp edges of metal utensils can damage the non-stick coating, and we strongly recommend that you avoid these.

Do I need butter, oil, or cooking spray to cook with Caraway cookware?

Ceramic is naturally a non-stick cooking surface, so a very little amount of oil or butter will go a long way. We suggest coating the entire interior with a light dab using a paper towel or cloth to keep things silky smooth when cooking.

Do I need to season my pans?

Ceramic non-stick pans, unlike cast iron, do not need seasoning. Other than giving your products a quick rinse with warm, soapy water when you first receive them, you’re ready to start cooking!

How hot do my pans need to be to start cooking?

Low to medium heat is all you need! Our pans heat up in under a minute and can retain its temperature more efficiently compared to traditional cookware. You’ll be able to crisp and fry all day long thanks to our non-stick layers.

How safe is your non-stick coating?

Our ceramic non-stick is made from inorganic natural ingredients which are all 100% safe to use in contact with all foods (and FDA approved). Plus, the absence of potentially dangerous chemicals like PTFE, PFOA, PFAS, Lead, and Cadmium means that there is no chance of harmful materials leaching into your food, even if you accidentally scratch or overheat your pan.

Does Caraway ceramic non-stick wear over time?

Yes, all non-stick coatings will slowly wear off given frequent use. Just like your favorite pair of shoes, the more you use them the faster they wear out. But with delicate care and cleaning, Caraway cookware is designed to last years!

How many boxes should I expect my cookware/bakeware to arrive in?

For each complete set you order, you can expect will one compact, recyclable box to eliminate waste and keep everything simple.

Do Caraway products have a warranty?

Our cookware and bakeware have a limited one-year warranty covering any major damage to the body, handles, lids, or anything else that functionally impairs the cookware, other than discoloration or damage through wear & tear. Read more here.


What can I make in Caraway cookware?

Anything that you can dream up! Our essential cookware set is versatile enough to handle all sorts of recipes–from scrambled eggs to a demi-glace.

Is your cookware induction compatible?

Yes, our cookware is induction compatible, as long as the burners on your cooktop support our base sizes. The bases of our pans' diameters are 5.5" for the Sauce Pan, 6" Fry Pan, 6.5" Dutch Oven and 8" for the Saute Pan. Some induction cooktops may not support smaller base sizes.

Is there a lid for the Fry Pan?

The Fry Pan uses our medium sized lid which it shares with the Dutch Oven. This means you gain this lid with purchase of the full Cookware Set and with purchase of the Dutch Oven. Contact our team for a special saving on purchasing both the Dutch Oven and Fry Pan!

Is the storage system included in the cookware set?

Yes, it sure is! When you purchase a cookware set you receive our uniquely designed pan racks and lid holder! The storage system is only available with the purchase of a full cookware set, and is not sold individually even if multiple pieces are purchased.

Is Caraway Cookware oven safe?

Yes! Each piece of cookware is designed purposefully to be used in and on all cooking surfaces and ovens. Our cookware can handle up to 550°F without breaking a sweat.


Is the storage system included in the Bakeware set?

All purchases of our Bakeware Sets come with our custom-designed storage solutions. The Half-Bakeware set includes one such system and the Complete Bakeware Set includes two. The storage systems are only available with purchase of the sets and are not sold separately or included with individual Bakeware pieces.

Should I hand wash my Caraway Bakeware or can I use the dishwasher?

What material is your Bakeware made of?

Our Bakeware is manufactured with an aluminized steel core. Stainless steel is used for the handles on two of the pieces. The interior is made with the exact same non-stick coating as our Cookware; free of lead, cadmium, PTFE (Teflon®), PFOA, and other harmful chemicals.


What materials are your linens made from?

Our linens are made from 100% cotton. They are machine washable - make sure you wash before first use, and either tumble dry low or hand dry!

Shipping & Returns

Where does Caraway ship?

We ship to all states in the USA, including Hawaii & Alaska. Unfortunately, we do not ship to APO and FPO addresses or to PO Boxes.

How much does shipping cost?

Standard shipping is free on all purchases for orders originating in the continental US above a certain total value. Orders below this are charged shipping rates depending on the product. Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, or any expedited shipping option, will come at an additional cost. You can see specific shipping charges once you checkout.

When exactly will I receive my order?

For standard shipping in the continental US, between 2–5 business days once your order has been processed. 3–7 days for Hawaii and Alaska. Expedited shipping can arrive as soon as the next day. If your order has already shipped, you can track you order by opening our Chat and entering your order details in the "order status" section.

The above shipping standards apply to when product has been shipped. Any items on backorder contain estimated ship dates in the future, and therefore will see the above timelines once the product has been restocked and shipped out. Please refer to your order confirmation or the product page for estimated backorder dates.

Do you offer a trial period?

We want you to find cookware that best fits the way you actually cook—and you can't find what fits best until you start cooking. If our products do not spark joy within the first 30 days, send it back to us no questions asked.

Can I return a gift card?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept gift card returns. But we’re confident you can find someone in your life who needs to upgrade their cookware!

I cooked in the product I am returning! What do you do with used returned items?

All returned Caraway products are donated, as long as it is in good condition. If not, it will be recycled.

My order arrived damaged. What do I do?

We try to make sure everything runs smoothly–but life happens. Contact us via the chat button below (bottom right!) or email us at [email protected] and we’ll sort it out for you!

Do you provide refunds?

Of course! As part of our 30-day trial, we'll refund your order and cover the return shipping.

How long does it take for a return to be processed and for me to receive my refund?

Once we receive your return it gets processed immediately, and you can expect to see your refund about 3-5 business days later!

How do I change my address or request a package hold?

While we wish we could change the address on an order, if it has already been shipped and we are no longer able to make any changes to the original information provided to us. You may have some luck with the couriers though, as they do have online account services that give you greater control over the packages you receive from them.

For orders shipped via Fed-Ex, you can create an account with Fed-Ex Delivery Manager.

That program will give you access to make the following adjustments to any future Fed-Ex packages heading to you:

  • Re-direct your packages to Fed-Ex authorized locations such as Walgreens, some Dollar Generals and select grocery stores, in addition to nearly all standard Fed-Ex Office and Ship Center locations.
  • Provide delivery instructions to the driver on your route.
  • Hold deliveries and keep them safe for up to 14 days.
  • Place a signature confirmation on shipments, as well as e-sign for your packages.
  • Arrange a specific time-window for your packages to be delivered.
  • Re-direct your packages to a different residential address
  • Hold your packages for delivery to you on a different day

For orders shipped via UPS, you can create an account with UPS My Choice.

Their program will allow you to make many changes to a package, including:

  • Re-route your package to a different address
  • Reschedule delivery for another date
  • Additional information provided directly to you - a more accurate estimated and confirmed delivery window (no more 8am-6pm!)
  • View the tracking and manage the delivery of multiple pending packages at once
  • Receive real-time delivery alerts
  • Provide delivery instructions to the driver on your route.
  • Plan deliveries around your schedule
  • Re-route packages to a UPS Access Point where you can pick-up them up on your own schedule.
