DISHWASHER-SAFE GLASS: Glass containers can be placed in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. Ensure they are fully dry before refilling.
HAND WASH LIDS: Easy-to-disassemble lids make hand-washing a breeze. Remove the Airtight Switch and gasket, then wash components with warm, soapy water. Allow to fully dry before reassembling.

The Caraway airtight containers look great, you can see and feel the quality. Being able to choose a color was nice. I decided on glass and the Caraway containers looked to be the best ones out there and we'll worth the money. They should outlast my older Tupperware plastic that I used for many years. They will definitely last much longer, unless of course I drop them.
